Hello, I'm Charné!
I'm a Cape Town-based clinical psychologist offering psychotherapy to young people and millennials. I hold a Master's in Clinical Psychology and am registered with the HPCSA.
I found my niche somewhat accidentally, but at its core, my work rests on a deep trust in the impact of non-judgemental, thoughtful and skilled compassion. So I chose to make a space that honours that.
I support people navigating life transitions, anxiety, neurodivergence and gender identity journeys: with care for how these experiences overlap in real, human ways.

Is therapy for me?
Life can be tough and really, no one has it all figured out. Sometimes therapy is a sounding board, other times it's a space where we can say the hard things. There's this lovely balance of compassion and support (and a little venting), with deep diving and figuring out (our patterns build and develop over time).

A glimpse into my practice
My practice provides queer and neurodivergent affirming care, and I have experience working with mood and anxiety disorders. I often find myself working with (but not exclusively) female-identifying clients, and those in high-pressure environments (think new parents, doctors and creatives).
